Pissed off in spades

The one thing I greatly dislike about the MTV Movie Awards and it doesn't happen very often. That would be when a movie (Or in this case, two) get overlooked and something I don't recall anyone seeing gets some nominations.

In this case, someone didn't think that anyone saw "Your Highness" (I think the studio is to blame for some of that) or "Thor" (Which is just plain crazy) and decides to nominate crap like "Project X". Now, did anyone here SEE "Project X"? I'm not talking about the one from the '80s with Matthew Broderick, Helen Hunt, and a chimp they try to rescue from an air force base-

I'm talking about that whole found footage drunken debauchery movie. Sorry Martin Klebba, not even your cameo could make that watchable. Really, is that what's popular? I could go on about some movies I'm quite disappointed with as they show how much humanity's in its decline, but I won't.

But maybe I should've KNOWN something was up when the category that both Tom and Justin would've been a shoo-in for had been tossed out as of this year...and replaced with "Choice Dirtbag". (Which Justin's lovely girlfriend Jennifer Aniston has been nominated for as the horrible dentist who commits sexual harassment on her assistant in "Horrible Bosses"...hrm...)

So much like 2005 when some idiot overlooks "Van Helsing" for "You Got Served", I'm not voting or watching the show. I'm not blasting the obvious choices (I saw some, I didn't see others), but really? Though should I be that surprised that this is a network that cancels something brilliant like "Head Trip" while crap like "Undressed" flourished?
