Anyway, I'm glad that some stereotypes are being done away with, mainly that Mary Kate Olsen plays Kendra, who is now a beautiful blonde goth girl instead of an overweight goth girl. (I am so tired of that cliche...I have weight problems, but really, it's been used too much.)
And as for 'Adrian' (As the male lead calls himself after turning into a monster), I was hoping to see something more like the author was thinking of. And she was thinking of Cocteau's lion-looking Beast from the '40s film. Instead, he looks like Deucalion from Dean Koontz's "Frankenstein". So does that mean the scene where he accidentally mauls that girl at the Halloween dance is cut out? DAMMIT!!!!
Of course, that doesn't mean I won't attempt 'Adrian' one day...
